Four Friends come to Anchor

Four Friends: New Work
Russell Prather, Carol Phillips, John Harmon and Jean Behnke

October 1st to November 27th
Opening Reception October 1st, 6-9pm

It’s the end of September, which means two things; everyone is wondering what they will be for Halloween and Anchor’s new show, Four Friends, is about to open.

As the name states, the exhibition will bring together the diverse work four long time friends living at a distance from each other.  Russell Prather, Carol Phillips, John Harmon and Jean Behnke explore the influence of artists’ friendships using formal and informal processes of art making.  This broad and imaginative exhibition includes wall work, ceramic and installation.  We've got some pictures here to give a little preview of the creative and colorful work you can look forward to.

See you this Friday at the opening!

Shapiro Sale!

Beginning today, all works by California artist Karen Shapiro, will be going on sale through September! Using raku, Shapiro’s “American Pop Icons” evoke a nostalgia for decades past by giving the objects a used quality drawn from the daily-life objects they derive from. These fun and quirky works have long been ogled over by visitors to Anchor. Now is a wonderful chance to bring some home! Stop by or contact us for more information.
